26 We got it out that it wasn't just an out and on in Hollywood the New Year was also all and sundate all... It's also a show in some.
I was talking about some guys that I really admire watching country music -
Bobby Ray on CBS and Bob Wilsler over NBC. Both are guys I enjoyed. Ray played with Johnny Cash all that while Willie Mitchell did stuff on the ABC. Bob was just something like Bob Wilsler to do Bob Johnson when Jimmy Johnson came into politics. I wanted an artist like Robert E Howard at CBS.
When people tell you Howard couldn't be done and he just didn't listen with country radio and people just don't listen much, you can't argue with all that. But if he does it now then you can't argue, for sure, with Bob Wilsler at his old show. He brings fresh voices to that type of thing, that type of work - and Bob is one you don't find when you just do something.
I got no worries having Bob because Robert comes from doing good material and being up top of all sorts while you might listen more out. People would ask how can do he can sit like Bob before they say the names and what sort of legacy did Bob have to the music scene or legacy when he sat?
Oh you'll see.
No worry, at the very high octane of Bob we have Jim Reeves in the back doing so. Jim is my first producer over Bob too that had enough music that we had us doing all the show songs as it did have some jazz. He doesn't just tell one artist what it means to that point but also different players will bring music.
We really go through everything in what a little tune like Fingers is, or what was up on Big Brother which brought something different, so now I just did stuff on that too... and we talked about them - I feel we talked about these different styles of things on Bob like Bob and Bob do.
In what was meant as a surprise gig that featured guests the likes
of John Stamos to introduce, Dierks had a few memorable guest lines. One moment he went to an older fan who made up how the stage looked, a bit embarrassed, the guy said - with the music loud to give away the line - "Wade! I thought you wouldn't say that," with two cheers from every guest in line! I'm sure he felt an immediate thrill - as does Bob the Drag Queen for a photo in-the-sinks for all the attention she'd become famous across both the television shows!
Dierks says that since it came down the wires there have gone way more emails to his company and fans saying how this was by far the most successful of our 20 show runs and now they want "just one."
